A month-long, daily performance on a moored floating platform in Boston Harbor. The platform was only accessible by kayak and all furniture and props were ferried via raft. The piece publicly confronted issues of privacy and gentrification in a contested area of development in which long-standing artist communities were being displaced. Over the month, the platform became a backyard, an office, a garden and a living room. It was then sold as “real estate” to a local fisherman.

The film, Endless, by Raber Umphenour was shot in a kayak. Scroll down below the photos to watch it.
